College Football – MAC offseason moves

The MAC football conference continues to move forward with great teams such as Central Michigan and Akron.

A lot of people still downplay the MAC, but the truth of the matter is that clubs like Buffalo are still going to be competitive with or without the likes of Turner Gill.

Some of the teams like Ball State are still in a rebuilding mode after people like quarterback Nate Davis left the program in order to go to the NFL and end up hiring a new head coach as well.

The Akron Zips is also able to claim that they are still in a rebuilding mode after they come off a two and nine season. The Zips have made some moves in order to upgrade their speed in positions like outside linebacker. The firing of J.D. Brookhart as head coach after six seasons. J.D. Brookhart is someone who was beloved in the program, but the Zips knew a change needed to be made.

The fact that the MAC Conference currently has new coaches coming in from schools like Notre Dame in order to get the MAC football conference back on the map is something The people at Central Michigan on the other hand are looking for a new starting quarterback and are hoping to have an open competition.
