CFB – Ohio State Buckeyes Offseason
The returning champions of the 2009 Rose Bowl, The Ohio State Buckeyes are back and hope for bigger results this year. They also have most of their starters coming back for offense and for defense. One of the main starters being starting quarterback Terrelle Pryor.
Pryor is starting to emerge as the leader for the Buckeyes. He is being more vocal and taking control of the offense. In the past 2 season Pryor has thrown for 3,405 yards and 30 touchdowns and has rushed for 1,410 yards and 13 touchdowns. He is clearly the most dangerous offensive of player that the Buckeyes have out there on the field. However, Pryor can’t do it all by himself on offense. Teams will start to gameplan and figure out how to stop him. That’s were recruiting comes in.
They have signed Roderick Smith RB 6-2 220 Harding H.S. (IN) as well as James Louis WR 5-11 180 Atlantic Community H.S. (FL). Smith may be one of the more eye opening back in the class. With his speed and size, he is able to break any short run for a big gain. James Lewis at WR, can provide extraordinary speed and get Pryor to throw the deep ball to loosen up the D for great runs himself.
Ohio State is known to be the top dog in the Big Ten right now. The defending Rose Bowl champions have improved and have started of their summer with great intensity in search for the National Championship. They will defiantly be ranked in the top 5 this year just as they were last year.
